I consider myself to be a pretty experienced teacher - although every day's a school day! I have been teaching for 10 years now and thrive on helping children achieve their academic goals.
My students, no matter their background or needs have always made good progress under me. Most importantly, I pride myself on the relationship I have with the children in my care.
I originally achieved my PGCE back in 2014. I could give you a long list of every school I've taught at and all that I've achieved, but let me summarise the key things you need to know about me:
I have taught in every primary year group, which gives me a unique perspective on childhood development from 3-11
I have taught in both English and Scottish schools, meaning I have a working knowledge of both countries curriculums
I have taught in both the state and the private sector, ranging from deprived inner-city schools to elite single-sex schools - every child, no matter what their background, is important
I have taught children with a range of Special Educational Needs and I understand the uniqueness of how each child learns
I have taught in many positions, from full time to maternity cover, from management to supply, I know how schools work from the top down and inside out
